- To make origami flower, gladiolus uses a square pattern B, dig out the details of the dark and light fabrics. Sew the module and iron it. Fold the workpiece horizontally and vertically to determine the center. Mark it on both sides of the module with a pencil of contrasting color, chalk, etc.
- Place the module with the dark side down. Fold each side toward the center by 3 cm.
- Fold the workpiece in a clockwise direction. Lock the position of the cuffs with pins. Pay attention to the location of the ends of the cuffs (Fig. 1). Iron the bends with the iron through the fabric. Remove pins.
Use neat stitches to fasten the cuffs at the tops of the square formed in the middle of the workpiece (Fig. 2) without stitching to the base.
Straighten the pockets. 5. Press down on the center of the pockets and flatten them. Fix the shape of the pockets with pins (fig. 3). Smooth over the folds of the fabric. Remove pins. Turn the workpiece over to the other side. Bend all corners to the center. Secure the tops of the corners with several neat stitches (fig. 4) .
Iron off the folds. Unscrew the tops of the pockets. At the fold of each “pocket” with an effort, spend a thumb nail. Sew the tops of the new “pockets” to the center of the module (Fig. 5, 6).
Iron off the finished product. 10. To make a gladiolus flower smaller, at the initial stage of work, the sides of the blank must be bent not by 3 cm, but, for example, by 1 cm. Then proceed according to the described scheme.
